Located in West Texas between Sterling City and Water Valley, Walnut Creek Ranch is a unique, 10,000-acre ranch on the Divide, where the Texas Hill Country converges with the rolling plains. Because of its family heritage, rich history and diversity in terrain and inhabitants, Walnut Creek Guest Ranch draws travelers, outdoor photographers, archeology buffs, hunters, ecologists, trail riders, birders, nature lovers and historians from all over the nation.
The Homestead and outlying building are extremely well furnished with handcrafted oak and walnut in a time honored tradition. Bed linens are 350 count sheeting, each individually ironed for our guests comfornt and luxury. Each bed is covered in a French duvet and down comforter. All other furnishing throughout are generally restored ranch antiques.

The ranch is a fantastic place for a couples get-a-way, family reunion, church retreats, business meetings, photographers, birders, and nature lovers. Walnut Creek can accomodate one to twenty four overnight guests. If relaxation is your goal, a wooden swing, hammock, and lawn chairs are just the thing to watch the deer, turkey, quail, and other wildlife that come to water. You may also want to enjoy a game of horse shoes, croquet, or washer pitching as you take in the West Texas night by the fire under a blanket of a million stars.
